Roverway: il prossimo sarà nel 2024!

Quando e dove sarà il prossimo Roverway?

Il Roverway 2018, campo riservato ai Rover, con il tema OPPOSITES ATTRACT (gli opposti si attraggono) si è appena concluso con successo nei Paesi Bassi dal 23 Luglio al 1° Agosto 2018.

Siete curiosi di sapere quando e dove sarà il prossimo Roverway?
Dove non si sa ancora ma abbiamo una data: 2024.

Il Jamboree Europeo 2020 in Polonia

Sembra una data molto lontana, 6 anni, ma il tutto è motivato nel comunicato delle Organizzazioni mondiali WOSM e WAGGGS (European Committees of WAGGGS and WOSM ) dal voler promuovere e partecipare al prossimo Jamboree Europeo del 2020 organizzato dall’Associazione scout Polacca ZHP ( Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego) in Polonia appunto (“We are pleased to announce that the next Roverway will be held in 2024. This gives us time to actively promote and participate in the European Jamboree in 2020 hosted by Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego(ZHP) in Poland.”).

Verifica e Analisi dei Roverway

Roverway è composto da 2 parti: una parte di campo mobile seguita da una parte di campo fisso.
Ad esempio nei Paesi Bassi si è svolto in 2 tranche così divise:
dal 24 al 28 LUGLIO si sono svolte le Route (“le Paths”)… spostandosi da l’Aja fino al luogo del campo fisso sul polder di Zeewolde.
dal 29 LUGLIO al 1 AGOSTO Campo fisso alla Base Scout Internazionale di Zeewolde.

Viene sottolineato dal comunicato come si voglia prendere spunto dall’esperienza accumulata dei primi 6 Roverway ( tra cui uno in Italia nel 2006) facendo un’analisi ( a Ottobre 2018) per creare un evento sempre migliore.
In seguito all’analisi verrà aperta una call dove le associazioni potranno proporsi per organizzare il prossimo Roverway!

Roverway 2018 & Roverway 2024
Dear friends,
Roverway 2018 is just about to start and will be officially opened on 23 July by His Excellency Frans
Timmermans, first Vice-President of the European Commission. Many of us will be attending some of
Roverway, some as part of the open invitation from the International Commissioners of Scouting
Nederland (cf. annex).
We are pleased to announce that the next Roverway will be held in 2024. This gives us time to actively
promote and participate in the European Jamboree in 2020 hosted by Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego
(ZHP) in Poland.
In the interim period, we would urge all those interested in putting together a bid to host the next
Roverway to make good use of the opportunity to visit Roverway in the coming days and consider being
part of the review meeting scheduled for October 2018.
The European Committees will schedule a thorough review of Roverway to build on the successes to date
and benefit from the experience accumulated from Portugal 2003, Italy 2006, Iceland 2009, Finland
2012, France 2016 and including Netherlands 2018.
Please take all the opportunities to familiarise yourselves with Roverway to help your association decide if
it would like to host this important event when the call is issued following the Committees’ review.
